The slim lip rests over the edge of your countertop, which helps hold the board steady while you prep. It works best on a flat, standard counter edge, so check the lip measurements in the product details before ordering.
Yes. The steel surface is non-porous, so it doesn’t soak up odors or juices. As with any cutting board, wash it with hot, soapy water after cutting raw meat and dry it before storing.
Lift and place the board rather than dragging it across the counter, and wipe away crumbs or grit before sliding it on. Like any steel surface, it can develop fine marks over time from knife use, which is normal. A sharp knife and light pressure help it look good for longer.

NetherDrop Ultra-Thin Over-the-Counter Stainless Steel Cutting Board
Your prep space, right where you need it.
Most cutting boards are thick, bulky, and a hassle to store. The NetherDrop stainless steel cutting board is different. It’s ultra-thin, with a built-in lip that slides over the edge of your countertop or kitchen workbench, giving you a flat, steady surface for chopping, prepping, and plating. When you’re done, wipe it clean and put it away.
Designed to Slide On
The slim lip along the front edge rests over your counter edge, so the board sits where you put it instead of wandering across the surface while you work. Move it to another counter or workbench whenever you like. There’s nothing to install and no tools needed.
Ultra-Thin, Easy to Store
At only a fraction of the thickness of a typical wood or plastic board, it slips into a drawer, cabinet, or gap beside your fridge. It’s a good fit for small kitchens, apartments, and anyone who wants more counter space back.
Brushed Stainless Steel Surface
The smooth stainless steel surface looks clean and modern in any kitchen. Unlike wood, steel is non-porous, so it doesn’t soak up food odors or stains, and cleanup takes seconds.
A Large, Flat Workspace
There’s plenty of room to dice vegetables, slice fruit, prep ingredients, portion food, or roll out dough. The flat surface also works as a serving or plating board.
Built for Everyday Use
Stainless steel is a tough, durable material that holds up to daily kitchen use. It’s made to be used, washed, and used again.
